Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An improved touch screen encryption device and method used for a financial institution or a postal services is disclosed. CONSTITUTION: A user selects information from prompts displayed on a touch screen. The improved device determines an input information based upon the location of the touch. The device encrypts the information for example, the user's personal identification number (PIN) and sends the encrypted information to a remote processor. The device and method may be used by a financial institution (such as a bank) or a postal services. 본 발명은 안전을 위하여 터치 스크린 장치에 정보를 입력하고 입력정보를 부호화하는 방법 및 그 장치에 관한 것이다. 사용자는 터치 스크린 상에 표시된 프롬프트로 부터 정보를 선택한다. 본 발명은 터치의 지정구역에 의거하여 입력정보를 결정한다. 본 발명의 장치는 예를들면 사용자의 개인 신분번호(PIN)를 부호화하여 리모트 프로세서에 부호화된 정보를 송출한다. 본 발명의 장치는 은행 등의 금융기관 또는 우체국에 사용할 수 있다.
