Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A cable has superior mechanical properties and process ability relative to conventional cable by using current polymers such as low density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), and polyvinylchloride (PVC). CONSTITUTION: The cable comprising a layer of a polyethylene composition characterized in that the polyethylene composition comprises: (A) from 5 percent to 95 percent by weight of the total composition of at least one first polymer which is an ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having; (i) a density from 0.865 g/cm¬3 to 0.95 g/cm¬3, (ii) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) from 1.8 to 3.5, (iii) a melt index (I2) from 0.001 g/10 min. to 10 g/10 min., and (iv) a CBDI greater than 50 percent, (B) from 5 percent to 95 percent by weight of the total composition of at least one second polymer which is a heterogeneously branched ethylene polymer or homogeneously branched ethylene homopolymer having a density from 0.9 g/cm¬3 to 0.965 g/cm¬3.
본 발명은 폴리에틸렌 조성물이 (A) 전체조성물 중 (i) 밀도 0.865 g/cm내지 0.95 g/cm, (ii) 분자량 분포 (Mw/Mn) 1.8 내지 3.5, (iii) 용융 지수 (I) 0.001 g/10min. 내지 10 g/10min. 및 (iv) CBDI가 50%를 초과하는 에틸렌/α-올레핀 내부 중합체인 하나 이상의 제1중합체 5 내지 95 중량%, (B) 전체조성물 중 밀도 0.9 g/cm내지 0.965 g/cm인, 불균일하게 분지된 에틸렌 중합체 또는 균일하게 분지된 에틸렌 단일중합체인 하나 이상의 제2중합체 5 내지 95 중량% 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리에틸렌 조성물 층으로 이루어진 포함하는 케이블에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 케이블은 저밀도 폴리에틸렌(LDPE), 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌(LLDPE), 및 폴리염화비닐(PVC)와 같은 일반적인 중합체를 이용하는 통상적인 케이블에 비하여 상대적으로 뛰어난 기계적 성질 및 가공성을 갖는다. |
