SMART MEDIA CARD

PURPOSE: A smart media card is provided to previously prevent a breakage of IC chip without changing a whole construction by preventing to transfer from a driving shock of a roller to the IC chip in COB Package(Chip On Base Package). CONSTITUTION: A smart media card comprises: in the center part of the card body(20), a pocket(21) equipped for sufficiently accommodating the COB Package; in the pocket(21), COB Package, that the other side of the COB Package is exposed to the upper direction of the card body(20) equipped; the COB Package is heat-oppressed at high temperature with adhesives, and the COB Package strongly attached to the surface of the card body(20); the COB Package(20) consisted of the concoction of a base film(1) where the other side of the base film is exposed and the IC chip(2) attached on the surface of the base film(1); the IC chip(2) is electrically connected with each electric terminal of the base film(1) by wires(4). 본 발명은 스마트 메디아 카드에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에서는 COB 패키지의 양 측부에 COB 패키지보다 더 큰 높이로 돌출된 돌출리드들을 배치하고, 이를 통해, 롤러의 구동충격이 COB 패키지 내의 IC칩에 전달되지 않도록 함으로써, 장치 전체의 구조를 변경시키지 않고도 IC칩의 손상을 미리 방지할 수 있다.
