Vehicle Driving Direction Determination System and Vehicle Driving Direction Determination Method

A vehicle driving direction determination system according to the present invention comprises: a stop determination part for determining whether to stop a vehicle; an inclination determination part for determining the inclination of a road as the vehicle is determined to be stopped by the stop determination part; a departure determination condition calculation part for calculating the driving torque, the braking torque, the transmission gear lever position, and the steering angle at the time immediately before the departure of the stopped vehicle as departure determination conditions; a departure mode determination part for determining the departure type of the vehicle using the inclination of the road calculated by the inclination determination part and the departure determination conditions calculated by the departure determination condition calculation part, and selecting the most accurate driving direction determination algorithm among a plurality of driving direction determination algorithms; and a driving direction calculation part for calculating the driving direction of the vehicle according to the driving direction determination algorithm selected by the departure mode determination part. Therefore, provided are a vehicle driving direction determination system and a vehicle driving direction determination method, wherein the driving direction of a vehicle can be determined accurately in various situations without additional equipment such as separate sensors. 본 발명에 따른 차량의 주행 방향 판단 시스템은, 차량의 정차 여부를 판단하는 정차 판단부, 상기 정차 판단부에 의해 차량이 정차 상태인 것으로 판단된 상태에서 도로의 경사도를 판단하는 경사 판단부, 정차된 상태의 차량이 출발 직전 시점에서의 구동 토크, 제동 토크, 변속기 기어레버 위치 및 스티어링 조향각을 발진판단조건으로서 산출하는 발진판단조건 산출부, 상기 경사 판단부에 의해 산출된 도로의 경사도와, 상기 발진판단조건 산출부에 의해 산출된 상기 발진판단조건을 통해 차량의 발진 유형을 판단하여, 복수 개의 주행 방향 판단 알고리즘 중 가장 정확도가 높은 주행 방향 판단 알고리즘을 선택하는 발진모드 결정부 및 상기 발진모드 결정부가 선택한 주행 방향 판단 알고리즘에 의거하여 차량의 주행 방향을 산출하는 주행 방향 산출부를 포함한다.
