| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for preparing a carbon monoxide adsorbent, comprising the steps: a) impregnating a porous matrix with chitosan; b) adding a monovalent copper compound to the chitosan-impregnated porous matrix; and c) calcining the same under an inert gas atmosphere. The present invention further relates to a carbon monoxide adsorbent prepared therefrom. According to the present invention, the carbon monoxide adsorbent can maintain carbon monoxide adsorption capacity even when the carbon monoxide adsorbent is exposed to air for a long period of time.
