Zusammenfassung:An embodiment of the present invention provides a photoelectrode for water decomposition with carbon nanodots and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the photoelectrode for water decomposition comprises: a substrate; a compound semiconductor layer located on the substrate; and a carbon nanodot layer located on the compound semiconductor layer and including a plurality of carbon nanodots. 본 발명의 일 실시 예는 탄소나노점을 구비하는 물분해용 광전극 및 이의 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 물분해용 광전극은 기판; 상기 기판 상에 위치하는 화합물 반도체층; 및 상기 화합물 반도체층 상에 위치하되 복수개의 탄소나노점들을 포함하는 탄소나노점 층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
