Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is an automatic measuring device for settling velocity of non-cohesive sediment mixtures. The automatic measuring device for settling velocity of non-cohesive sediment mixtures comprises: a settling column in which a settling experiment is conducted to measure a settling velocity of sediment particles of mixed sediment; a support which fixes the settling column in the longitudinal direction; a Venetian typed sediment dropping device which is capable of adjusting slit angles to uniformly drop the mixed sediment at a height same to an upper end of the settling column; a collecting pan which collects sediment particles dropped from the upper end of the settling column at a lower end; a load cell in a top end which measures submerged weights of sediments collected in the collecting pan in real time; k-number steel wires which connect the load cell in the upper end and the collecting pan and maintain a horizontal state of the collecting pan; a control device which controls operations and measuring periods of the load cell in the upper end; and a PC which converts accumulated submerged weight data by time into accumulated submerged weight distribution by settling time and accumulated submerged weight distribution by settling velocity and displays the same. The automatic measuring device for settling velocity of non-cohesive sediment mixtures (gravels, sands and silt) appearing as various particles collects dropping non-cohesive sediment mixtures through the collecting pan connected to a lower end inside the settling column by wires, measures submerged weights of collected sediments by time through the load cell and converts a fixed drop distance and recorded drop time to measure the settling velocity. The automatic measuring device for settling velocity of non-cohesive sediment mixtures according to the present invention can rapidly understand the settling velocity distribution and improve convenience of workers without separate analytic processes.
