The present invention relates to a characteristic evaluation method of magnetic rheological fluid. According to the present invention, the characteristic evaluation method of magnetic rheological fluid, which is the characteristic evaluation method of magnetic rheological fluid including a distribution medium and magnetic particles, comprises: a step (a) of preparing a container filled with the magnetic rheological fluid or a flow passage where the magnetic rheological fluid flows; a step (b) of arranging a coil unit to enable the container or the flow passage to be positioned in a hollow area of the coil unit; and a step (c) of measuring an impedance signal or an inductance signal with respect to the magnetic rheological fluid through the coil unit. 본 발명은 자기유변유체의 특성 평가 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 자기유변유체의 특성 평가 방법은 분산매체 및 자성입자를 포함하는 포함하는 자기유변유체(Magnetic Rheological Fluid)의 특성 평가 방법으로서, (a) 자기유변유체가 채워진 용기 또는 자기유변유체가 흐르는 유로를 준비하는 단계; (b) 코일부의 중공 영역에 상기 용기 또는 상기 유로가 위치하도록 상기 코일부를 배치하는 단계; 및 (c) 상기 코일부를 통해 상기 자기유변유체에 대한 임피던스 신호 또는 인덕턴스 신호를 측정하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
