Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a route extension calculation device and method. The route extension calculation device may include: a communication portion for receiving route data of a target route; a control portion for extracting location coordinate information for each unit distance of the target route from the route data received from the communication portion, counting the number of coordinates for each administrative district based on the address information corresponding to each extracted location coordinate information, and calculating extension information for each administrative district of the target route based on the counted number of coordinates; and a storage portion for storing route extension information for each administrative district calculated by the control unit. 노선 연장 연산 장치와 방법을 제시하며, 노선 연장 연산 장치는 대상노선의 노선 데이터를 수신하는 통신부; 상기 통신부에서 수신된 노선 데이터로부터 상기 대상노선의 단위거리별 위치 좌표 정보를 추출하고, 추출된 각 위치 좌표 정보에 대응하는 주소 정보에 기초하여 행정구역별 좌표 수를 카운트하며, 카운트된 좌표 수에 기초하여 상기 대상노선의 행정구역별 연장 정보를 산출하는 제어부; 그리고 상기 제어부에서 산출된 행정구역별 노선 연장 정보를 저장하는 저장부를 포함한다.
