Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for determining point cloud information in consideration of an operating environment of light detection and ranging (LiDAR) system. The method for determining point cloud information according to the present disclosure comprises: an environment information acquisition unit that acquires first point cloud information on a first operating environment and second point cloud information on a second operating environment through a first LiDAR sensor; an environmental noise extraction unit that generates environmental noise point cloud information based on the first point cloud information and the second point cloud information; a target information acquisition unit that acquires third point cloud information on the second operating environment through a second LiDAR sensor; and a point cloud information generation unit that generates noise point cloud information based on the environmental noise point cloud information. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a device and method for simulating point cloud information related to noise caused by inclement weather conditions in operating a LiDAR system.
