Apparatus for reducing food waste

The present invention relates to a vacuum drying-type food waste processing apparatus to reduce energy consumption and processing time. According to the present invention, the vacuum drying-type food waste processing apparatus comprises: a chamber (20) embedded in a case (10), having a U-shaped cross section, and into which food waste (W) to be processed is input; a heating unit (30) heating the chamber (20); a stirrer (40) stirring the food waste (W) while being rotated in the chamber (20); a transfer pipe (50) connected to the chamber (20) and through which a steam generated during a stirring process is transferred; and a water ring pump (60) connected to the transfer pipe (50) and sucking and compressing the steam transferred through the transfer pipe (50) to discharge the steam in a liquid phase. 본 발명은 진공건조식 음식물쓰레기 처리장치에 관한 것으로서, 케이스(10)에 내장되는 것으로서, 처리를 위한 음식물쓰레기(W)가 투입되는 단면이 "U" 형태의 챔버(20); 상기 챔버(20)를 가열시키는 가열부(30); 상기 챔버(20) 내에 회전되면서 음식물쓰레기(W)를 교반하는 교반기(40); 상기 챔버(20)와 연결된 것으로서, 교반 과정에서 발생된 증기가 이송되는 이송관(50); 및 상기 이송관(50)과 연결된 것으로서 상기 이송관(50)을 통하여 이송된 증기를 흡입 및 압축한 후 액상으로 배출하는 수봉식펌프(60);를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
