APPARATUS FOR CABLE PIERCING

The present invention relates to a device for passing a communication cable through and, more specifically, to a device for passing a communication cable through, which enables a worker to conveniently install an additional cable through hangers along a cable arranged through the hangers coupled with a support wire when a cable is additionally installed on the cable for communication which is connected along a support wire interposed between telephone poles to connect the two telephone poles and have hangers. The device for passing a communication cable through according to the present invention comprises a body having a narrow leading end portion at one side, wherein a curved portion is formed on a tip of the leading end portion. In addition, a hooking hole is formed in the inner side of the leading end portion and a hooking pin is hooked on or detached from the hooking hole. A guide having a holder for holding the cable in the upper part is connected to the other side of the body, wherein the device for passing a communication cable through can be conveniently moved along the cable by holding the upper surface of the cable with the holder of the guide and then simply inserted and transferred through the hangers, thereby allowing an even unskilled worker to introduce the device for passing a communication cable through along the cable installed on a telephone pole and then simply connect an additional cable to a next telephone pole.
