A rotary engine

The present invention relates to a rotary engine that deforms the shape of an exhaust port to reduce the area where a corner seal is exposed to the exhaust port. To this end, the rotary engine of the present invention includes a rotor housing that forms an accommodating space in which fuel is burned; a rotor including a rotor body, the corner seal, and an apex seal and moving or compressing the fuel; a cover housing coupled to the rotor housing to seal the accommodating space; a rotary shaft for rotating the rotor; an intake port provided in the cover housing to guide the fuel into the accommodating space; and the exhaust port provided in the cover housing to be spaced apart from the intake port to discharge the fuel guided to the accommodating space to the outside of the accommodating space, wherein the exhaust port is located to be spaced more than the radius of the corner seal from the inner peripheral surface of the rotor housing in the diameter direction of the rotary shaft. 본 발명은 코너씰이 배기포트에 노출되는 영역을 감소시키기 위해 배기포트의 형상을 변형시키는 로터리 엔진에 관한 것이다.
