The present invention relates to an identity card recognition device capable of easily photographing an identity card with an anti-counterfeiting function, verifying identification information through the photographed information, and taking a picture by changing the insertion method of the corresponding identity card depending on the installation or use place. More specifically, the identity card recognition device comprises: a photographing unit provided therein to photograph an identity card so that a card-shaped anti-counterfeiting hologram is not reflected, and transmit the photographed information to a verification server to verify identification information and rotatably installed with a main body; and a card insertion unit having an inside communicating with and coupled to the inside of the photographing unit, and into which an identity card to be photographed is inserted. The card insertion unit comprises: an insertion body having one side detachably coupled to the photographing unit; a transparent plate of a transparent material provided on the other side of the insertion body; a bent unit extending from the other side of the insertion body and bent to form an insertion groove into which an identity card is inserted together with the outer surface of the transparent plate by the bending; and a pressing member coupled to the bent unit, provided to press the identity card inserted into the insertion groove by elasticity so that the identity card can be in close contact with the transparent plate, and extending the area of the insertion groove. The pressing member is detachably coupled to the bent unit to be selectively omitted when the installation direction of the photographing unit is horizontal. 본 발명은 위조방지 기능이 부여된 신분증을 용이하게 촬영하여 그 촬영정보를 통해 신원정보의 확인이 가능하며, 설치장소나 사용장소에 따라 해당 신분증의 삽입 방식을 달리하여 촬영할 수 있는 신분증 인식장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 내부에 카드 형상의 위조 방지 홀로그램이 반사되지 않게 신분증을 촬영한 후, 그 촬영정보를 확인서버로 전송하여 신상정보를 확인할 수 있도록 구비되며, 본체와 회전가능하게 설치되는 촬영부 및 내부가 상기 촬영부 내부와 연통되게 결합하되 촬영하고자 하는 신분증이 삽입되는 카드삽입부를 포함하되, 상기 카드삽입부는 일측이 상기 촬영부와 탈착 가능하게 결합하는 삽입몸체, 상기 삽입몸체 타측에 구비되는 투명재질의 투명판, 상기 삽입몸체 타측에서 연장되어 절곡 형성되되 그 절곡에 의해 상기 투명판의 외면과 함께 신분증이 삽입되는 삽입홈을 형성하는 절곡부 및 상기 절곡부와 결합하되 상기 삽입홈에 삽입된 신분증을 탄력에 의해 가압하여 상기 투명판에 신분증이 밀착될 수 있도록 구비되며, 상기 삽입홈의 면적을 연장시키는 가압부재를 포함하며, 상기 가압부재는 상기 촬영부의 설치방향이 수평방향인 경우에 선택적으로 생략될 수 있게 상기 절곡부와 탈착 가능하게 결합하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
