Apparatus for rating hair damage degree using cross-polarization light

The present invention relates to a hair damage evaluation device using cross-polarization light which can accurately evaluate a degree of the overall hair damage. The hair damage evaluation device using cross-polarization light comprises: a light source unit including a polarization light source emitting light of a polarization component through a first polarization filter; a second polarization filter disposed to intersect the first polarization filter on a path where the light of the polarization component emitted from the first polarization filter is reflected from hair of a user; a light reception unit receiving the reflected light passing through the second polarization filter; and a signal processing unit analyzing a reflected light signal received by the light reception unit to evaluate a degree of hair damage, wherein the first polarization filter and the second polarization filter are disposed on the same side of the hair with respect to the hair. 본 발명은 교차 편광을 이용한 모발 손상 평가 장치에 관한 것으로서, 제1 편광필터를 통해 편광성분의 광을 출사하는 편광 광원을 포함하는 광원부와; 상기 제1 편광필터로부터 출사되는 편광성분의 광이 사용자 모발에서 반사되는 경로상에 상기 제1 편광필터와 교차하도록 배치되는 제2 편광필터와; 상기 제2 편광필터를 통과한 반사광을 수광하는 수광부와; 상기 수광부에서 수신된 반사광 신호를 분석하여 모발 손상도를 평가하는 신호처리부를 포함하고; 상기 제1 편광필터와 제2 편광필터는 모발을 기준으로 모발의 동일 측면상에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
