Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a hyaluronic acid production strain and a method for producing hyaluronic acid using the same. With regard to the novel Streptococcus equi zooepidemicus (KZHAT20) strain (Accession No: KCCM12789P) and the method for producing hyaluronic acid using the same according to the present invention, the production of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid is greatly increased. In addition, the produced hyaluronic acid (HA) can be used more widely in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical fields. 본 발명은 히알루론산 생산 균주 및 이를 이용한 히알루론산의 생산방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 신규한 스트렙토코커스 쥬에피데미쿠스(Streptococcus equi zooepidemicus, KZHAT20) 균주(기탁번호:KCCM12789P) 및 이를 이용한 본 발명에 따른 히알루론산의 생산방법에 따르면, 고분자량의 히알루론산의 생산량을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한, 이와 같이 생산된 히알루론산(Hyaluronic Acid, HA)은 화장품과 의약품 분야에서 보다 광범위하게 이용할 수 있다.
