Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a method for estimating the location of a target in a wireless sensor network by fusing received signal strength (RSS) and angle of arrival (AoA) measurement data by an error covariance weighted least square (ECWLS) algorithm. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for tracking the location of a target comprises: a step of receiving signals transmitted from N sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network to calculate received signal strength (RSS) and angle of arrival (AoA) data; a step of estimating the initial position of the target on the basis of the calculated RSS and AoA data; a step of approximating an error covariance matrix for noise of RSS and AoA data on the basis of the initial position of the target; and a step of estimating the final position of the target by applying the approximated error covariance matrix as a weight of a weighted least square (WLS) algorithm. 본 발명은 무선 센서 네트워크에서 Error Covariance Weighted Least Square (ECWLS) 알고리즘을 사용하여 RSS(Received Signal Strength) 및 AoA(Angle of Arrival) 측정 데이터를 융합하여 표적의 위치를 추정하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 표적의 위치를 추정하는 방법은, 무선 센서 네트워크에서 N개의 센서 노드로부터 송신되는 신호를 수신하여, RSS(Received Signal Strength, 수신 신호 강도) 및 AoA(Angle of Arrival, 수신각) 데이터를 산출하고, 상기 산출된 RSS 및 AoA 데이터에 기초하여 표적의 초기 위치를 추정하고, 상기 표적의 초기 위치에 기초하여 RSS 및 AoA 데이터의 잡음에 대한 에러 공분산 행렬을 근사하고, 근사된 에러 공분산 행렬을 WLS(Weighted Least Square) 알고리즘의 가중치로 적용하여 표적의 최종 위치를 추정하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
