METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING SIGNAL DIRECTION

An apparatus for signal direction detection according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a reception unit for receiving signals through two of the plurality of reception channels according to a switching state of a switching element for a plurality of reception channels corresponding to the plurality of antennas; a switching driver unit for driving the switching state of the switching element to change; a measuring unit for measuring the strength of the reception signal by the reception unit; a control unit for controlling the switching driving unit so that the reception unit receives a signal through each of the plurality of reception channels, setting a reception channel having the greatest strength of the reception signal measured by the measuring unit as a reference channel among the plurality of reception channels, and controlling the switching driver so that the reception unit receives a signal through two reception channels including the reference channel; a direction detecting unit for detecting a direction with respect to the reception signal of the reception unit through the two reception channels including the reference channel. Accordingly, the apparatus for signal direction detection may set a reception channel having the highest reception signal strength as a reference channel. 일 실시예에 따른 신호 방향 탐지 장치는, 다수의 안테나에 대응하는 다수의 수신채널에 대한 스위칭 소자의 스위칭 상태에 따라 상기 다수의 수신채널 중 두 개의 수신채널을 통하여 신호를 수신하는 수신부와, 상기 스위칭 소자의 스위칭 상태가 변경되도록 구동하는 스위칭 구동부와, 상기 수신부에 의한 수신 신호의 세기를 측정하는 측정부와, 상기 수신부가 상기 다수의 수신채널 각각을 통하여 신호를 수신하도록 상기 스위칭 구동부를 제어하고, 상기 다수의 수신채널 중 상기 측정부에 의해 측정된 수신 신호의 세기가 가장 큰 수신채널을 기준 채널로 설정하며, 상기 수신부가 상기 기준 채널이 포함된 두 개의 수신채널을 통하여 신호를 수신하도록 상기 스위칭 구동부를 제어하는 제어부와, 상기 기준 채널이 포함된 두 개의 수신채널을 통한 상기 수신부의 수신 신호에 대하여 방향을 탐지하는 방향 탐지부를 포함한다.
