The present invention relates to a cover device of a cooking stove for protecting a user from a heating plate of the cooking stove which is in a high temperature state after cooking. The cover device includes: a plate that can be placed on the heating plate of an electric cookware and has an area that can cover all or a part of the heating plate; and a leg installed on an edge of the plate.
