Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is to provide a cap ply cord in which a warp loss problem is improved when dividing a fabric by using a low-melting point yarn as a weft yarn, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, cap ply cord comprises: warp yarn with straight cords; and weft yarn disposed on the upper and lower sides of the warp yarn and including a low-melting point yarn. The cap ply cord may include a fusion part formed by heat-sealing the low-melting point yarn at the intersection of the warp yarn and the weft yarn by heat treatment. 캡플라이용 코드는 원사를 연사한 생코드가 정렬된 경사; 및 상기 경사의 상측 및 하측에 배치되며 저융점(low melting) 원사를 포함하는 위사를 포함하며, 상기 경사와 상기 위사의 교차지점에 상기 저융점 원사가 열처리에 의해 열융착되어 형성된 융착부를 포함할 수 있다.
