Zusammenfassung:	According to an exhaust gas treatment device of a ship which comprises an engine, a spray injecting processing water to exhaust gas discharged from the engine, a filter having a filter membrane where a filter material adsorbing a contaminant included in the processing water reacting with the exhaust gas is applied, and a notification unit, when it is determined that the filter is in an abnormal state, a method for controlling the exhaust gas treatment device of a ship comprises an abnormality notification step of displaying that the filter is in the abnormal state through the notification unit. 본 발명은 엔진, 상기 엔진에서 배출되는 배기가스에 처리수를 분사하는 스프레이, 상기 배기가스와 반응한 처리수에 포함된 오염물질을 흡착하는 여과재가 도포된 여과막을 포함하는 필터 및, 알림부를 포함하는 선박 배기가스 처리장치에 있어서, 상기 필터가 비정상상태인 것으로 판단된 경우, 상기 알림부를 통해 필터가 비정상상태임을 표시하는 이상 알림 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 선박 배기가스 처리장치의 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
