Apparatus and Method for Filtering Wastewater Including Different Sized Filter Media

Disclosed are a sewage and wastewater filtration device and a method including filter media of different sizes. According to an aspect of the present embodiment, a filtration device for processing sewage and waste water comprises: a distribution tank which distributes incoming sewage and wastewater vertically upward, or receives washing water from a vertically upward side and discharges the same to the outside; a filter medium which has a smaller specific gravity than water, rises to filter solids and organic matters in the sewage and wastewater when the sewage and wastewater are distributed vertically upward from the distribution tank, and descends and separates the attached solids and organic matters when washing water is introduced from the upside; and a treatment water tank which receives treated water from which solids and organic matters are filtered through the filter medium and discharges the same to the outside, or discharges washing water introduced from the outside to the filter medium. 서로 상이한 크기의 여재를 포함한 오·폐수 여과장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 실시예의 일 측면에 의하면, 오·폐수를 처리하기 위한 여과장치에 있어서, 유입되는 오·폐수를 연직상방으로 분배하거나, 연직상방에서 세척수를 유입받아 외부로 배출하는 분배수조와 물보다 작은 비중을 구비하여 상기 분배수조로부터 오·폐수가 연직상방으로 분배되는 경우 상승하여 오·폐수 내 고형물 및 유기물을 여과하며, 세척수가 연직상방에서 유입되는 경우 하강하며 부착된 고형물 및 유기물을 분리시키는 여재 및 상기 여재를 거치며 고형물 및 유기물이 여과된 처리수를 유입받아 외부로 배출하거나, 외부로부터 유입되는 세척수를 상기 여재로 배출하는 처리수조를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 오·폐수 여과장치를 제공한다.
