Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an indoor fire hydrant for extinguishing a fire in a building. More specifically, the indoor fire hydrant for extinguishing a fire in a building comprises: a housing having a rectangular box shape and inserted into an embedding space formed on an interior wall of a building, and having an internal accommodation space and a front opening part of which a front portion is opened; a cover which is hinge-coupled to one side of the front of the housing via a hinge shaft, and rotates to the left and right around the hinge shaft as a rotary shaft to open or close the front opening part of the housing; and an opening/closing means horizontally penetrating the cover toward the internal accommodation space of the housing, and including a rotary shaft of which one end is positioned inside the cover and of which the other end is exposed to the front of the cover, a manual handle coupled to the other end of the rotary shaft to rotate the rotary shaft forward and backward, and a locking bar integrally formed on the rotary shaft in a state of being perpendicular to the rotary shaft to be positioned inside the cover, and rotated in the same direction as the rotating direction of the rotary shaft. A stopping protrusion extended in a prescribed length from the inner edge of the front opening part toward the center of the housing is formed on the housing. An end of the locking bar is positioned on the rear of the stopping protrusion when the rotary shaft is rotated in one direction while the edge of the rear surface of the cover comes in contact with the front surface of the stopping protrusion. A proximity sensor is mounted on the inner edge of the front opening part formed on the housing to sense whether the cover is opened and closed by the proximity sensor.
