Apparatus for Detecting Authenticity by Using Scattered Reflection of Dots and Driving Method Thereof

The present invention relates to a device for determining authenticity by using dot diffuse reflection characteristics and a driving method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for determining authenticity by using dot diffuse reflection characteristics comprises: a storage unit which generates and stores reference data for determining authenticity to apply dot diffuse reflection characteristics based on a transparent printing layer formed on a surface of an object of which the authenticity is to be determined; and a control unit which recognizes a code value for the surface from a photographed image obtained by photographing the surface of the object of which the authenticity is to be determined, and compares the same with the reference data for determining authenticity that stores the recognized code value to determine the authenticity of the object. 본 발명은 도트 난반사 특성을 이용한 진위여부 판별장치 및 그 장치의 구동방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 도트 난반사 특성을 이용한 진위여부 판별장치는, 진위여부 판별대상의 표면에 형성한 투명 인쇄층을 근거로 도트(dot) 난반사 특성을 적용하기 위한 진위여부판별 기준 데이터를 생성하여 저장하는 저장부, 및 진위여부 판별대상의 표면을 촬영한 촬영영상에서 표면에 대한 코드값을 인지하며, 인지한 코드값을 저장한 진위여부판별 기준 데이터와 비교하여 대상의 진위여부를 판별하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
