Resin composition for metal type self-polishing an antifouling paint

The present invention relates to a resin composition for an antifouling coating material and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly, to a resin composition for an antifouling coating material and a manufacturing method thereof, in which: when an antifouling coating material is manufactured by using the composition, since a metal salt which imparts high stickiness and adhesion is used, the antifouling coating material exhibits high mixability with an antifouling agent; since the metal salt exhibits a self-wear property, marine organisms are effectively prevented from adhering to a surface of a ship or the like; adhesion between the surface of the ship and a coating film is excellent so that the self-wear property is maintained for a long time; and excellent crack resistance and wear performance are obtained. The resin composition for the antifouling coating material includes: 100 to 150 parts by weight of an acrylic monomer; a metal salt such as copper acetate or zinc acetate; 10 to 30 parts by weight of an organic solvent; and 30 to 40 parts by weight of first silica particles which are surface-modified with SO_3 and represented by Chemical formula 1. 본 발명은 방오 도료용 수지 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 상기 조성물을 이용하여 방오 도료를 제조할 경우 높은 점착성과 접착성을 부여하는 금속염을 사용하기 때문에 방오제와 높은 혼합성을 나타내고, 상기 금속염이 자가 마모성을 나타내기 때문에 선박 등의 표면에 해양 생물이 부착되는 것을 효과적으로 방지할 수 있으며, 선박의 표면과 도막 간의 접착력이 우수하여 자가 마모 특성을 장기간 유지할 수 있고, 내크랙성 및 마모 성능이 우수한 효과를 나타낼 수 있는 방오 도료용 수지 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
