Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a shift fork for a transmission using over-process Al-Si alloy and insert casting. More specifically, according to the method for manufacturing the shift fork of the present invention, one or more grooves are physically formed, and an insert whose surface is spray-coated with a process Al-Si alloy is inserted into a mold and die-cast. Therefore, an interface bond between the insert and the shift fork becomes stronger. In addition, the temperature at which molten metal is injected into the mold is raised, so that silicon is employed up to 15.5 wt%, thereby increasing service life of a conventional shift fork.
