Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a speaker driver and an operating method thereof. The speaker driver comprises: an amplifier unit outputting the pulse voltage amplifying an input signal based on the supply voltage to drive a capacitive speaker generating sounds by the driving voltage and applying the driving voltage formed as the pulse voltage is filtered to the capacitive speaker; and a control unit controlling the size of an input audio signal in a high frequency area, transmitting the input audio signal as the input signal to the amplifier unit and limiting an overcurrent applied to the capacitive speaker by the driving voltage having a high frequency. Accordingly, the speaker driver can remove heating, power loss and volume expansion. 본 발명은 스피커 드라이버 및 그 동작 방법에 관한 것으로서, 구동 전압에 의해 음향을 발생시키는 용량성 스피커를 구동하기 위해, 공급 전압을 기반으로 입력 신호를 증폭한 펄스 전압을 출력함으로써, 펄스 전압이 필터링되어 형성되는 구동 전압이 용량성 스피커에 인가되도록 하는 앰프부, 및 입력 오디오 신호의 고주파 영역에서의 크기를 조절하여 입력 신호로서 앰프부로 전달함으로써, 고주파를 갖는 구동 전압에 의해 용량성 스피커로 인가되는 과전류를 제한하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
