The present invention relates to a buffer material supply device for an article packaging device. Provided is the buffer material supply device for the article packaging device which fills and packages the buffer material in an empty inner space of a packaging box in which the article is inserted, comprising: a hopper in which the buffer material is supplied and stored; a buffer material receiving part provided to communicate with the hopper and receiving the buffer material stored in the hopper; and an opening and closing plate which moves up and down within the buffer member receiving part to form a volume in the buffer material receiving part corresponding to a volume of an empty inner space of the packaging box into which the article is inserted. 본 발명은 물품 포장 장치용 완충재 공급 장치에 관한 것으로서, 물품이 투입된 포장 박스의 빈 내부 공간에 완충재를 충전하여 포장하는 물품 포장 장치용 완충재 공급 장치로서, 완충재가 공급되어 저장되는 호퍼; 호퍼에 연통되게 구비되어 호퍼에 저장된 완충재를 공급받는 완충재 수용부; 완충재 수용부 내에서 상하로 이동되면서 완충재 수용부 내의 체적을 물품이 투입된 포장 박스의 빈 내부 공간의 체적과 대응되게 형성하는 개폐판;을 포함하는 물품 포장 장치용 완충재 공급 장치를 제공한다.
