Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for monitoring cultural assets using digital image analysis and a device thereof and, more specifically, to a method which can acquire and analyze images of cultural assets at different points of time without allowing a person to directly judge a type of damage, an area of damage and a degree of damage and can determine and provide the type, area, and degree of damage caused in the cultural assets and a device thereof. According to the present invention, the method for monitoring cultural assets comprises the steps of: acquiring images of cultural assets at different points of time; analyzing the image; classifying an analysis result in accordance with a type of damage; and providing a classification result. 본 발명은 디지털 이미지 분석을 활용한 문화재 모니터링 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 사람이 직접 훼손 유형, 훼손 영역 및 훼손 정도를 판단할 필요 없이 상이한 시점에 문화재의 이미지를 획득 및 분석해 상기 문화재에 발생한 훼손의 유형, 영역 및 정도를 판단해 제공할 수 있는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 문화재 모니터링 방법은 상이한 시점의 문화재의 이미지를 획득하는 단계, 상기 이미지를 분석하는 단계, 상기 분석 결과를 훼손 유형에 따라 분류하는 단계, 및 상기 분류 결과를 제공하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
