| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a frequency hopping apparatus and a method thereof capable of setting a plurality of forbidden bands while efficiently operating a frequency. The frequency hopping apparatus includes: a pseudo noise sequence generation unit for generating a pseudo noise sequence; a jamming information receiving unit for receiving jamming information having initial forbidden bands set by a band in which a hopping signal does not invade; a forbidden band calculation and mapping block for calculating hopping forbidden bands in the pseudo noise sequence using the initial forbidden bands and performing frequency mapping using the hopping forbidden bands; and a frequency hopping unit for performing frequency hopping based on the frequency mapping.
