Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a service system for detecting a vehicle accident during driving using a lower power broadband communication network and a service providing method thereof. A service terminal according to the present invention is installed in a vehicle, can notify the accident by a method for making an alarm and flickering an emergency lamp, etc. by sensing the vehicle accident generated during the driving of the vehicle, and can quickly cope with the accident by notifying the accident to an external server. The method includes the steps of: periodically receiving a signal; firstly determining the accident; determining that a vehicle is in an accident state if state information corresponding to a vehicle accident; controlling a buzzer and illumination of the vehicle; and notifying the accident state of the vehicle. 저전력 광대역 통신망을 이용하여 운행 중 차량 사고를 검출할 수 서비스 시스템 및 그 서비스 제공방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 서비스 단말기는 차량에 설치되어 차량의 운행 중 발생하는 차량 사고를 감지하여 경보를 울리고 비상등 등을 점멸하는 방법으로 사고를 알릴 수 있으며, 외부 서버에 사고를 통지함으로써 신속한 사고 대처를 가능하게 한다.
