Gate Valve

The present invention relates to a gate valve, including an absorption member, which absorbs fluid to be expanded, in an edge of a disc opening/closing a flow path of a valve body to prevent the disc from being damaged by impact upon closing the disc. According to the present invention, the gate valve comprises: the valve body having the opened flow path through which the fluid passes and having an opened upper surface; a seat part extended from a top part of the valve body up to a bottom part of the flow path inside the valve body; the disc installed to be able to vertically move through the upper surface of the valve body to open/close the flow path while vertically moved by a driving means; and the absorption member installed along the edge of the disc to be installed in the seat part so as to move along an inner space of the seat part and absorbing the fluid flowing through the flow path to be elastically expanded. 본 발명은 밸브몸체의 유로를 개폐하는 디스크의 테두리에 유체를 흡수하여 팽창하는 재질의 흡수재를 설치하여 디스크 폐쇄시 충격으로 인한 디스크의 손상을 방지할 수 있도록 한 게이트밸브에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 게이트밸브는, 유체가 통과하는 유로가 개방되게 형성되며, 상부면이 개방되게 형성된 밸브몸체와; 상기 밸브몸체의 내측에서 밸브몸체의 상단부에서부터 상기 유로의 하단부까지 연장되게 형성된 시트부와; 상기 밸브몸체의 상부면을 통해 상하로 이동 가능하게 설치되어 구동수단에 의해 상하로 이동하면서 상기 유로를 개폐하는 디스크와; 상기 디스크의 테두리를 따라 설치되어 상기 시트부의 내측에 삽입되어 시트부의 내측 공간을 따라 이동하며, 상기 유로를 통해 유동하는 유체를 흡수하여 탄성적으로 팽창하는 흡수재;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
