Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a polyethylene resin, which is a resin composition having excellent environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) properties and high impact strength, and especially which is optimized for steel pipe coating. As the polyethylene resin for steel pipe coating manufactured by a Ziegler-Natta catalyst and a gas process, provided polyethylene resin is the polyethylene resin for the steel pipe having the density of 0.925 to 0.930 g/cm^3. 우수한 ESCR성을 갖으면서도 높은 충격강도를 갖는 수지 조성물로서, 특히, 강관코팅에 최적화된 폴리에틸렌 수지가 개시된다. 지글러-나타 촉매 및 가스(Gas) 공정으로 제조된 강관코팅용 폴리에틸렌 수지로서, 상기 폴리에틸렌 수지는 밀도가 0.925~0.930g/㎤인 것을 특징으로 하는 강관코팅용 폴리에틸렌 수지를 제공한다.
