Zusammenfassung:	A display apparatus for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display portion disposed within a vehicle, and including a main display for displaying contents information as a graphic image, and a sub-display disposed on the rear surface of the main display and moving to one side; and a processor controlling movement of the sub-display and extending or reducing a screen of the display portion, wherein the processor determines a method for displaying the contents information according to the size of the display portion that is extended or reduced, and the determined method for displaying contents is displayed as contents information on the extended display screen. 실시예에 따른 차량용 디스플레이 장치는, 차량 내에 배치되며, 컨텐츠 정보를 그래픽 이미지로 표시하는 메인 디스플레이와, 상기 메인 디스플레이 후면 상에 배치되어 일측으로 이동하는 서브 디스플레이를 포함하는 디스플레이부; 및 상기 서브 디스플레이의 이동을 제어하여 상기 디스플레이부의 화면을 확장 또는 축소시키는 프로세서를 포함하고, 상기 프로세서는, 상기 디스플레이부의 화면이 확장 또는 축소되는 크기에 따라 상기 컨텐츠 정보 표시방식을 결정하고, 상기 결정된 컨텐츠 표시방식으로 상기 확장된 디스플레이 화면에 컨텐츠 정보를 표시하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
