Fuel Oil Change-Over System and Method

The present invention relates to a system and a method to switch fuel oil between different kinds of fuel oils and, more specifically, relates to a system and a method to switch fuel oil, switching the different kinds of fuel oils used in a vessel to normally supply the switched fuel oil to an engine. According to the present invention, the system comprises: a fuel oil switching unit switching one among first, second, and third fuel oils with a sulfur content different from each other into another fuel oil to supply the switched fuel oil to the engine; a first fuel supply pump to supply the first and second fuel oils to the fuel oil switching unit; and a second fuel supply pump to supply the first and third fuel oils to the fuel oil switching unit. 본 발명은 이종의 연료유 간 전환 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 선박에서 사용되는 이종의 연료유를 전환하여 엔진으로 정상적으로 공급할 수 있도록 하는 연료유 전환 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 연료유 전환 시스템은, 황 함유량이 서로 다른 제1 연료유, 제2 연료유 및 제3 연료유 중 어느 하나의 연료에서 다른 연료유로 전환하여 엔진으로 공급하는 연료유 전환유닛; 상기 제1 연료유 및 제2 연료유를 상기 연료유 전환유닛으로 공급하는 제1 연료 공급펌프; 및 상기 제1 연료유 및 제3 연료유를 상기 연료유 전환유닛으로 공급하는 제2 연료 공급펌프;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
