The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling input power of a lighting emitting diode (LED) illumination. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for controlling input power of an LED illumination, which controls output power input into a lamp connected to the LED illumination, comprises: a power supply part outputting a direct current (DC) voltage changed in accordance with time in a standby state with no electrical connection to the LED illumination, and in a load state electrically connected to the LED illumination, maintaining and outputting a DC voltage at a time of the load state; an object detection part outputting a detection signal when an object is detected within a detection range; a control part having information on an appropriate voltage range, allowing an output of the power supply part and the object detection part to be input thereinto, and outputting a signal by determining a time when DC current input by the power supply part from a time when the detection signal is received from the objection detection part becomes in the appropriate voltage range; and a switching part allowing an output of the control part and the power supply part to be input thereinto and electrically connecting the power supply part to the LED illumination when receiving the output signal from the control part. 본 발명은 엘이디 조명 입력 전원 제어 장치와 관련된다. 본 발명은 실시예로, 엘이디 조명에 연결되어 램프에 입력되는 출력 전압을 제어하는 것으로서, 상기 엘이디 조명과 전기적으로 연결되지 않은 대기 상태에서는 시간에 따라 변동하는 직류 전압을 출력하고, 상기 엘이디 조명과 전기적으로 연결되는 부하 상태에서는 그 시점의 직류 전압을 유지하여 출력하는 전원공급부, 감지 범위 내에서 물체를 감지하면 감지 신호를 출력하는 물체감지부, 적정 전압 범위에 대한 정보를 가지고, 상기 전원공급부와 상기 물체감지부의 출력이 입력되며, 상기 물체감지부로부터 감지 신호를 받은 시점부터 상기 전원공급부에서 입력되는 직류 전압이 적정 전압 범위가 되는 시점을 판단하여 신호를 출력하는 제어부 및 상기 제어부와 상기 전원공급부의 출력이 입력되고, 상기 제어부에서 출력 신호를 받으면 상기 전원공급부를 상기 엘이디 조명과 전기적으로 연결해주는 스위칭부를 포함하는 엘이디 조명 입력 전원 제어 장치를 제시한다.
