The present invention relates to a sports drink composition for boosting immune functions and improving motor ability, containing milk vetch root-derived polysaccharide as an active ingredient. More specifically, by extracting polysaccharide from an aerial part and an underground part of milk vetch root respectively, mixing the same at the weight ratio of 1:1, and then orally administrating the same in a mouse model, immune functions reduced after workout become enhanced, endurance increases, and a rapid drop in blood glucose due to workout can be remarkably prevented, thereby being useful as sports drink compositions. 본 발명은 황기 유래의 다당체를 유효성분으로 함유하는 운동능력 개선 및 면역기능 증진용 스포츠 음료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 본 발명은 황기 지상부 및 지하부로부터 다당체를 각각 추출하여 1:1의 중량비로 혼합한 후 동물모델 마우스에 경구투여한 결과, 운동 후 저하된 면역기능을 증진시키고, 지구력을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라, 운동으로 인한 급격한 혈당 감소를 현저하게 억제시키므로, 스포츠 음료 조성물로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
