CCTV AN APPARATUS FOR SECURITY SURVEILLANCE IN CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION BASED-ON ENCRYPTION KEY USING HARDWARE SECURITY MODULE AND METHOD BY USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a CCTV security monitoring apparatus and method using an encryption key-based hardware security module, which encrypt an image photographed by an IP camera with a key for encryption, transmit the encrypted photographed image, and store and manage the encrypted photographed image based on index information for an encryption key performed by each IP camera by an NVR. When a client finally generates the encrypted photographed image provided by the NVR with a key for decryption based on the index information for the key for encryption used in encryption by the corresponding IP camera and then restores the encrypted photographed image to play the encrypted photographed image or monitor the encrypted photographed image in real time, encryption and decryption processing are performed through each IP camera, the NVR, and a hardware security module embedded in a client terminal to prevent image data from being easily restored even if the image data are leaked and strengthen management of an encryption key. 본 발명은 IP 카메라에서 촬영한 영상을 암호용키로 암호화하여 전송하고, 암호화된 촬영 영상을 NVR에서 각각의 IP 카메라에서 수행한 암호용키에 대한 인덱스 정보를 토대로 저장 관리하며, 최종적으로 클라이언트가 NVR에서 제공되는 암호화된 촬영 영상을 해당 IP 카메라에서 암호화에 사용된 암호용키에 대한 인덱스 정보를 토대로 복호용키로 생성한 후 암호화된 촬영 영상을 복원하여 재생하거나 실시간 모니터링을 수행할 때, 각각의 IP 카메라, NVR 및 클라이언트 단말기에 내장된 하드웨어 보안모듈을 통해 암호화 및 복호화 처리를 수행함으로써, 영상데이터가 유출되더라도 손쉽게 복원하지 못하도록 하며, 암호키의 관리를 한층 강화할 수 있도록 하는 암호키 기반의 하드웨어 보안모듈을 이용한 CCTV 보안 감시 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.
