The present invention relates to a technique for implementing a home care service function on a mat provided at a home entrance. The technique determines a user state whether a user passing the mat by stepping on the mat goes out or comes in, makes a greeting voice in accordance of the state of the user, informs the user of the current weather especially when the user goes out, and allows the user to check on and off states of household appliances and gas appliances.
