Zusammenfassung:	According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for generating a thumbnail image, performed by a server, comprises: a step of learning a thumbnail generation rule by using at least one original image for learning and at least one thumbnail image for learning; and a step of generating the thumbnail image from the original image based on the learned thumbnail generation rule. Thereby, the present invention can intelligently generate the thumbnail image without manually editing the thumbnail image or inputting an edition condition of the thumbnail image. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르는, 서버에 의하여 수행되는썸네일 이미지를 생성하는 방법은, 적어도 하나의 학습용 원본 이미지와 적어도 하나의 학습용 썸네일 이미지를 이용하여 썸네일 생성 규칙을 학습하는 단계; 및 상기 학습된 썸네일 생성 규칙에 기초하여 원본 이미지로부터 썸네일 이미지를 생성하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
