Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to adjust camera exposure by using features of an image. The apparatus to adjust camera exposure comprises: a virtual image generating unit to generate a plurality of virtual images by adjusting the brightness of an image photographed by a camera; a feature image generating unit to generate a plurality of feature images by extracting each feature of the virtual images; and an exposure value adjusting unit to estimate a reference brightness by using a relationship between the feature obtained from the feature images and the brightness, to rise the exposure value of the camera when the reference brightness is brighter than the photographing image, and to reduce the exposure value of the camera when the reference value is darker than the photographed image. 카메라의 노출을 조절하는 장치로서, 카메라에서 촬영된 촬영 이미지의 밝기를 변경하여 복수의 가상 이미지를 생성하는 가상 이미지 생성부, 상기 복수의 가상 이미지 각각의 특징값을 추출하여 복수의 특징값 이미지를 생성하는 특징값 이미지 생성부, 그리고 상기 복수의 특징값 이미지로부터 획득한 특징값과 밝기의 관계를 이용하여 기준 밝기를 추정하고, 상기 기준 밝기가 상기 촬영 이미지보다 밝으면 상기 카메라의 노출값을 올리도록 제어하며, 상기 기준 밝기가 상기 촬영 이미지보다 어두우면 상기 카메라의 노출값을 내리도록 제어하는 노출값 제어부를 포함한다.
