VIDEO STABILIAZTION METHOD BASED ON SMOOTHING FILTERING OF UNDESIRABLE MOTION, RECORDING MEDIUM AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

The present invention relates to a video stabilization method based on filtering for reduction of unintentional motion, which can control strength of application of filtering for reduction of unintentional motion based on a change in a motion component of an image, and which can incorporate nonlinear characteristics of the image thereinto. The video stabilization method comprises the steps of: obtaining a cumulative affine transformation parameter by using a parameter of an affine transformation matrix indicative of a relationship between adjacent frames in an input video; calculating motion of the input video based on a change in the cumulative affine transformation parameter; obtaining an affine transformation matrix, in which an unintentional motion component has been reduced, by filtering the cumulative affine transformation parameter using an alpha-trimmed means motion filter whose strength has been controlled based on the motion of the input video; and obtaining a restored video, in which the unintentional motion component has been reduced, based on the affine transformation matrix in which the unintentional motion component has been reduced. 입력 영상에서 근접한 프레임간의 관계를 나타내는 어파인 변환 행렬의 매개변수를 이용하여 누적 어파인 변환 매개변수를 획득하고, 상기 누적 어파인 변환 매개변수의 변화 정도에 따라 상기 입력 영상의 움직임 정도를 산출하고, 상기 입력 영상의 움직임 정도를 기초로 강도를 제어한 움직임 알파 보정 평균 필터를 이용하여 상기 누적 어파인 변환 매개변수를 필터링하여 비의도 움직임 성분이 완화된 어파인 변환 행렬을 획득하고, 상기 비의도 움직임 성분이 완화된 어파인 변환 행렬에 기초하여 비의도 움직임 성분이 완화된 복원 영상을 획득하는, 비의도 움직임 완화 필터링 기반의 동영상 안정화 방법을 제공한다.
