Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a variable compliance device for linking and a method for controlling variable compliance for linking using the same comprising an elastic tube member which is installed in a joint to surround a joint supporting elastic member elastically supporting the joint. The variable compliance device for linking detects an amount of link impact of variable compliance to adjust the inner air pressure of the elastic tube member, thereby improving human safety by minimizing human injuries when a person and a robot bumps into each other and usability of a robot by securing safety during operation of the robot. 본 발명은 링크용 가변 컴플라이언스 장치 및 이를 이용한 링크용 가변 컴플라이언스 제어 방법에 관한 것으로 관절을 탄성 지지하는 관절지지 탄성부재를 감싸도록 상기 관절에 장착되는 탄성 튜브부재를 포함하는 가변 컴플라이언스를 링크 충격량을 감지하여 탄성 튜브부재의 내부 공기압을 조절함으로써 인간과 로봇의 충돌 시 인간의 상해를 최소화하여 인간의 안전성을 향상시키고, 로보 작동 시 안전성을 확보하여 로봇의 활용성을 높인다.
