Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a method, a system, and a recording medium for providing a message by a group unit. The method of providing a message includes: a step of sorting messages received in a user terminal by group; a step of generating a representative item for the group using the messages included in each group by the group; and a step of providing a message item for the user terminal through a message list of a message storage box in which the message is stored, including the representative item as an item related to the group, and bundling and providing the messages included in the group from the message list. 메시지를 그룹 단위로 제공하기 위한 방법과 시스템 및 기록 매체가 개시된다. 메시지 제공 방법은, 사용자 단말에 수신된 메시지를 그룹 별로 분류하는 단계; 상기 그룹 별로 각 그룹에 포함되는 메시지를 이용하여 상기 그룹에 대한 대표 항목을 생성하는 단계; 및 상기 사용자 단말로 상기 메시지가 저장된 메시지 보관함의 메시지 목록을 통해 메시지 항목을 제공하되 상기 대표 항목을 상기 그룹과 관련된 항목으로 포함시키고 상기 메시지 목록에서 상기 그룹에 포함되는 메시지를 묶어서 제공하는 단계를 포함한다.
