A FALL DOWN TEST APPARATUS OF COMBINATION METAL CONTAINERS FOR SPENT FUEL

The present invention relates to a fall-down test apparatus of a combination metal container for a spent nuclear fuel capable of dealing with variations that can occur when the container falls down by making a database of the variations. The fall-down test apparatus of a combination metal container for a spent nuclear fuel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a test container including a basket assembly, a canister, and a cask with shapes obtained by miniaturizing the canister, the basket assembly, and the cask of the combination metal container for the transport or storage of the spent nuclear fuel with the same reduction ratio to correspond to one another; a base to support the bottom surface of the test container; and a support frame arranged on the base to tract the test container so that the test container falls down, wherein the cask comprises: a container-shaped cask body having a cavity inside; an external casing separated from the cask body by a specific distance; and a shielding material formed between the cask body and the external casing.
