METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SCR UREA EXHAUSTION WARNING

The present invention relates to a method and a system to warn an exhaustion of a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) urea solution, which limits a driving speed of a vehicle when a urea solution is exhausted or has a defect in order for a driver to recognize the same. The method to warn the exhaust of an SCR urea solution comprises: a check step of checking a residual quantity of the urea solution in a urea solution tank; a warning step of determining whether the residual quantity of the urea solution reaches a preset warning standard value, and limiting the driving speed of the vehicle at a setting speed when the residual quantity of the urea solution is equal or less than a warning standard value; and a step of inducing reinjection of the urea solution, which limits the driving speed of the vehicle at a minimum speed when the residual quantity of the urea solution reaches a minimum standard value. 요소수 탱크 내의 요소수의 잔량을 체크하는 체크단계; 요소수 잔량이 기저장된 경고 기준치에 도달하는지 판단하고, 요소수 잔량이 경고 기준치 이하일 경우 차량의 주행속도를 설정속도로 제한하는 경고단계; 및 요소수가 소모됨에 따라 요소수 잔량이 기저장된 최저 기준치에 도달하는지 판단하고, 요소수 잔량이 최저 기준치에 도달한 경우 차량의 주행속도를 최저속도로 제한하는 요소수 재주입 유도단계;를 포함하는 에스씨알 요소수 고갈 경고 방법이 소개된다.
