Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is to effectively cope with an accident generated in a nuclear power plant. An apparatus for coping with a severe accident in a nuclear power plant includes: a signal receiving part which detects measurement information related to an accident symptom of the nuclear power plant from at least one measuring device; an accident information processing module which verifies effectiveness according to a predetermined reference to measured values in the signal receiving part, determines the generation of an accident based on the verified values, and indicates at least one alleviation function for alleviating the accident symptom; and an accident corresponding module which defines at least one process path for performing the alleviation function and detect an optimized path according to a predetermined reference of the defined process paths.
