MUSSEL CLEANNING AND SEPARATION DEVICE

The present invention relates to a mussel cleaning and separating apparatus, which peels abnormal materials off by a friction while feeding mussels in water by a screw for cleaning the mussels. To achieve the purpose, the mussel cleaning and separating apparatus includes: a body unit formed with a cylindrical body horizontally placed and having an input hole at an upper part of one side for receiving the mussels; a selection unit formed with a cylindrical net drum and having one side connected to be rotatable on an end of the other side of the body unit; a feeding screw horizontally installed within the body unit where a feeding blade is installed as far as a position corresponding to the body unit, and cleaning and separating the mussels by the friction while feeding the mussels inputted by power applied from the outside; a cleaning water supply pipe inputting cleaning water into the body unit; and a blocking plate composed of a semicircular shape plate, installed at a rotating shaft of the feeding screw on the inside between the body unit and the selection unit to be rotatable and having one side portion fixated on the inside of the selection unit to rotate with the selection unit, thereby making water accommodated within the body unit flow out toward the selection net or preventing water from flowing out.
