Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a power supply device for a vehicle and a power supply control method for a vehicle, which can start a hybrid vehicle and an internal combustion engine vehicle in an extremely low temperature environment. The power supply device for a vehicle comprises: a housing having a positive terminal and a negative terminal; a battery connected to the positive terminal and the negative terminal and supplying power to a starter motor in response to a start command; and a thermoelectric battery connected to the positive terminal and the negative terminal, and supplying power to the starter motor when satisfying a predetermined condition to be activated, wherein a plurality of unit cells activated by heat are laminated in series or in parallel.
