Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a skin-whitening composition comprising Maackiasin as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a skin-whitening composition comprising Maackiasin as an active ingredient using effects of suppressing an expression of enzymes related to melanin production. Maackiasin as an active ingredient contained in a cosmetic composition of the present invention has greater effects in suppressing a melanin synthesis even at significantly low concentrations in comparison with arbutin, thereby being effectively used in manufacturing a cosmetic composition and for a functional cosmetic with excellent skin whitening effects. 본 발명은 마키아신(Maackiasin)을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더 상세하게는 마키아신이 멜라닌 생성과 관련된 효소들의 발현을 억제하는 효과를 이용한 마키아신을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 화장료 조성물에 유효성분으로 함유되는 마키아신은 알부틴(arbutin)과 비교해 봤을 때, 훨씬 적은 농도에서도 멜라닌 합성 저해효과가 더 큰 바, 피부 미백 효과가 뛰어난 화장료 조성물 및 기능성 화장품을 제조하는데 효과적이다.
